Privacy Policy
本隱私權政策(下稱「本政策」)自[2021]年[6]月[8]日起生效,加拿大商諾生莉迪亞智能科技股份有限公司台灣分公司(下稱「Knowtions」或「我們」)可能基於因應法律、法規及/或最新技術變化的需求,在Knowtions依其自身裁量權限認為適當的情況下,不定時修改本政策。您可隨時查看本政策以確保您的權利。

This privacy policy (the "Policy") is effective on June 8th, 2021 and may be amended by Knowtions Research Inc., Taiwan Branch ("Knowtions" or "we" or "us") from time to time in response to changes in laws, regulations, and/or latest technology. You can check the Policy at any time to protect your right.


當您利用或使用 https://www.knowtions.com/(下稱「本網頁」)及/或任何相關應用軟體(包括但不限於手機應用程式,下稱「本APP」)上由我們所營運的服務時(下稱「本服務」),即代表您已明示同意受本政策拘束。本政策規範我們蒐集、處理、利用、儲存及刪除您所提供及/或我們因提供本服務而可獲得的所有相關資訊。不同意受本政策拘束的本服務使用者(下稱「使用者」),不得利用或使用本服務。

By using or accessing services available at: https://www.knowtions.com/ (the "Website") and any related applications (including but not limited to mobile applications, the "App") which operated by us (the "Services"), you explicitly agree to be bound by this Policy. This Policy governs our gathering, processing, utilization, storage and deletion of all the information you provided and/or made accessible in connection of the Services. By using or accessing the Services, you agree to this Policy. Users of the Services (the "Users") who do not agree to be bound by this Policy shall not use or access the Services.
1. 您的資訊
在您利用或使用本服務的過程中,我們可能自您所蒐集的資訊或資料(下稱「您的資訊」)包含下列內容:
  • 您的帳號、密碼、姓名、身分證字號、生日、年齡、性別、手機號碼、電子信箱或其他您為了利用或使用本服務所必須使用到的資訊。
  • 您於健保署健康存摺內近三年的健康資料(下稱「健保署資料」)。您的健保署資料將根據中央健康保險署(下稱「健保署」)所另外規定的條款或條件進行蒐集。

1. Your Information
The information or data we may gather from you through your use of or access to the Services ("Your Information") includes the following:
  • your username, password, name, ID number, birthday, age, gender, telephone number, email address or other information necessary for your use of or access to the Services.
  • your health data in NHIA My Health Bank within the last 3 years (the "NHIA Data"). Your NHIA Data will be gathered under additional terms and conditions stipulated by National Health Insurance Administration (NHIA).

  • 我們嚴格管控我們的員工或任何可能使用您的資訊的第三方,並採取積極措施,藉由健全的安全控管機制來排除隱私侵害的風險。
  • 我們有事件應變協定,以立即調查及迅速回報任何潛在或確定的隱私侵害。

2. Security Policy
We hold the upmost importance of protection of Your Information and carefully consider the protection of it which is as follows:
  • Your Information is encrypted in transmission and de-identified before storage or usage in the platforms of the Services or disclosure to any third party. Your Information being de-identified is traceable and monitored by us.
  • Aggregate statistics or pattern data generated through the de-identified process and collected and retained by us cannot be reversed engineered back to the original data.
  • We strictly control our employees or any third party who may access Your Information and take active measures to eliminate the risk of privacy breach through robust security control mechanisms.
  • We have incident response protocols for immediate investigation and prompt reports of any potential or confirmed privacy breach.
3. 蒐集、處理及利用您的資訊
利用或使用本服務時,即代表您同意:
  • 我們得蒐集您的資訊並將其去識別化,以透過我們的Lydia人工智慧科技,包括但不限與其相關的機器學習模型,產生健康報告及健康分數(僅供判定您對特定保險產品適合性的目的)、促銷碼及產品推薦(下統稱「衍生成果」);
  • 我們得基於改善本服務、分析或行銷等目的,匯編衍生成果數據、本服務綜合使用資料及其他資訊;以及
  • 我們得基於下列目的,使用衍生成果、本服務綜合使用資料及其他資訊:
    • 為了提供個人化內容及資訊給您,例如促銷或電子報,然而您可隨時拒絕作為行銷目的使用;
    • 為了回覆我們所收到來自您的信件、詢問或要求;
    • 為了監控、記錄、分析、維護、營運及改善本服務;
    • 為了診斷及/或修復與本服務相關軟體及/或應用程式的錯誤及/或其他技術相關的問題;
    • 為了更新本服務相關軟體及/或應用程式;
    • 為了促進公共利益或避免對您或其他人的權利或利益的損害;或
    • 當已取得您的同意或是經所適用的法律或法規允許或要求。

3. Gathering, Processing and Utilization of Your Information

By using or accessing the Services, you agree that:
  • we may gather Your Information and de-identify it to produce the health report and the health scores (for the sole purpose of determining your eligibility to specific insurance products), the promotion code and the product recommendations (collectively the "Derived Results") through our Lydia AI technology, including but not limited to its related machine learning models;
  • we may compile statistics of the Derived Results, aggregate Services usage data and other information for Services improvement and analytical or marketing purposes; and
  • we may use the Derived Results, aggregate Services usage data and other information for any of the following purposes:
    • to provide personalized content and information, such as promotions or newsletter, to you, while you may reject the use of marketing purposes at any time;
    • to respond to your correspondence, queries or requests we receive from you;
    • to monitor, record, analyze, maintain, operate, and improve the Services;
    • to diagnose and/or fix bugs and/or other technology problems in respect of the Services related software and/or applications;
    • to update the Services related software and/or applications;
    • to promote public interests or prevent harm on your or any other's rights and interests; or
    • when your consent has been obtained or as permitted or required by applicable laws and regulations.
4. 揭露您的資訊
除下列所示的任一情形外,未經您的明示授權及同意,我們不會將您的資訊、衍生成果、及/或本服務綜合使用資料揭露予您的保險經紀人、保險公司或任何第三人:
  • 根據本服務的使用者條款揭露上開資訊;
  • 向我們的關係企業及第三方組織揭露上開資訊,以協助我們提供或改善本服務;
  • 於我們出售全部或一部業務或參與合併或收購時,向我們的繼受方揭露上開資訊;
  • 揭露上開資訊以保護我們、我們的關係企業、員工、董事、代表人或使用者的法律上權利並避免保險詐欺;
  • 揭露上開資訊以符合所適用法律或法規或主管機關的要求;
  • 揭露分析數據或其他去識別化資訊;或
  • 您已將您的資訊及/或衍生成果公開。請注意,即使您將您所公開的資訊一部或全部移除,這些資訊於您移除後仍可能有殘留記憶而繼續留存。

4. Disclosure of Your Information

Without your express authorization and consent, we will not disclose Your Information, the Derived Results, and/or aggregate Services usage data to your broker, insurer or any third party; provided, however, we may disclose information under any of the following circumstances:
  • disclosing such information according to the terms of use of the Services;
  • disclosing such information with our affiliates and third-party organizations to help us provide or improve the Services;
  • disclosing such information with the successor(s) in the event that we sell all or part of our business or we are involved in a merger or an acquisition;
  • disclosing such information to protect the legal rights of us, our affiliates and our employees, directors and agents and the users of the Services or for the prevention of insurance fraud;
  • disclosing such information to meet the requirements of applicable laws and regulations or the competent authorities;
  • disclosing analytics and other de-identified information; or
  • you have made Your Information and/or the Derived Results publicly available. Please note that, however, even if you remove them in part or in whole, there may remain some residuals of such information after your removal.
5. 保留您的資訊
  • 於衍生成果產生後,您的健保署資料將立即被刪除且不會留存於本服務的平台。
  • 當您利用或使用本服務,即表示您已同意將衍生成果、本服務綜合使用資料及其他資訊儲存於日本及/或任何其他我們自有及/或外包的資訊處理中心,且我們有權依自身裁量權限不定時更換資料處理中心;然而,除所適用法律或法規要求更長期限之情形外,這些資訊的保存年限為衍生成果產生起五年,或我們收到您依據本政策第9條請求將其自本服務平台上刪除,以孰先至者為準。

5. Retention of Your Information

  • Your NHIA Data will be deleted immediately and will not be retained in the platforms of the Services after the production of the Derived Results.
  • By using or accessing the Services, you agree that the Derived Results, aggregate Services usage data and other information are stored in Japan and/or any other places where we may have self-owned and/or outsourced data process centers as determined by us from time to time in our sole discretion; provided, however, unless longer term is required under applicable laws and regulations, such data will be retained until the earlier of 5th anniversary of the Derived Results production date or our receipt of your request made pursuant to Section 9 hereof to remove it from the platforms of the Services.

When you use the Services, we or our third-party contractor may use cookies and similar technologies to collect information about how, where, and/or when you use the Services to provide you with better and more personalized Services. We may ask third-party contractors to serve ads, services and/or other information to your devices, which may use cookies or similar software placed by us or the third party. You may modify your acceptance of cookies in your browser settings, while you may not be able to use certain functionality of the Services if you opt to reject all cookies.

7. Third-Party Service
There may be hyperlinks to third-party websites, applications, software or products within the Services. Functionality of the Services may also permit interactions and/or bridge between the Services and a third-party website, application or software. We do not control third-party websites or applications may interact with, connect to or gather information from you, and we recommend you learn more about the privacy policy of such third party.
8. 自我保護措施
請確保您的資訊的安全並於每次利用完本服務後登出您的帳戶,且您不應揭露任何您的個人資訊予任何人,尤其是您的密碼及身分證字號,以避免他人使用您的資訊。

8. Self-Protection Measures
Please keep Your Information safe and log out your account after using the Services each time, and you shall not reveal any personal information to anyone, especially your password and ID number, in avoidance of others accessing your information.
查閱、補充、更正或刪除您的資訊
若您需要查詢、閱覽、複製、補充、更正、要求停止蒐集、處理或利用或刪除您的衍生成果、本服務綜合使用資料或其他資訊,請直接與服務中心聯繫(客服專線:(02)8170-5156);然而,若您的請求可能對我們的合法利益產生不利影響,我們將無法接受您的請求。

Review, Supplement, Correct or Delete Your Information
If you need to look up, review, make a copy, supplement, correct, demand the cessation of the collection, processing or utilization or delete the retention of your Derived Results, aggregate Services usage data or other information, please contact service center directly; provided, however, that we may not accept your request if our benefits may be adversely affected.
