Paramus, NJ - August 7, 2006 - Knowtions Inc., a leading provider of informal learning
software for corporations and governments, today announced the addition of Charles A.
Breeding as Vice President of Business Development. Mr. Breeding is a proven force in
developing and servicing client relationships in the learning software market, and will significantly
contribute in accelerating the company’s growth in the Federal Government and Fortune 2000
global marketplace.
“As Knowtions positions itself to meet the exploding demands of organizations seeking to
improve worker productivity and accelerate real-time learning in their organization, Mr.
Breeding brings invaluable experience and proven results,” said Karl Rauch, President and
CEO of Knowtions Inc. “Expanding our sales team, and accessing new markets are critical to
achieving our growth strategy and meeting the demand for our solution. Mr. Breeding will play
a key role in maximizing our success.”
A graduate of West Point, Charles has 22 years experience of sales production in the learning
space, most recently as Federal Account Executive for Learn.com, Inc. His prior experience
includes time as Managing Partner, Federal Government – FranklinCovey Co., where he
successfully exceeded his deliverables with the DOD, Federal Government and Agencies. In
addition, Breeding served as Regional VP – Sales for Avaltus Inc, a Learning Content
Management System provider as well as related positions at THINQ Learning Solutions and
Spherion Human Capital Consulting. He started his career in the learning market with Dale
Carnegie & Associates, Inc. Charles has consistently outperformed his objectives and
facilitated aggressive growth for every organization he has been part of.
“I am excited about joining Knowtions and look forward to contributing to their growth and
market leadership,” said Charles, VP of Business Development of Knowtions. “In today's
web-based application world with knowledge workers using more complex software
applications, it is increasingly necessary for companies to explore new ‘informal learning’
models where in the application, one can get 'just-in-time' performance support for completing
tasks and activities.”
Charles sees an increasing value of informal learning in today’s work environment. “This is true
whether in the corporate marketplace or in the Federal Government. The situation is further
exacerbated by the fact the fewer and fewer people are expected to do more work -- better,
cheaper and faster -- and that productivity gains are hampered by the lack of performance
support tools like Knowtion's Coachware®. Thus, my feeling is that the upside potential for a
cutting-edge technology like Knowtions is quite compelling as a value proposition.”
